The Position 

As Business Controller, you will become part of a small, ambitious finance team reporting directly to the CFO. You will take on a broad and development-oriented role, working closely with management, our external accounting partner, and the rest of the organisation. 

The role is ideal for an early-career profile who is ambitious, curious, and eager to grow with responsibility. At Offspring, we are constantly moving – and so will you. Your responsibilities will include 

  • Participating in the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts 

  • Business partnering with the wider organisation – e.g. sales, marketing, design, and logistics 

  • Monthly follow-up on budget and forecast (both consolidated and at department level) 

  • Contributing to optimisation initiatives and implementation of new tools 

  • Supporting year-end closing and audit together with our external partner 

  • Ad hoc tasks – from compliance and debtor follow-up to analyses 


About You 

We value personality and potential more than a specific degree, but we imagine you have a basic understanding of accounting (debit/credit) and an interest in financial management and data. 

You are likely at the beginning of your career, for example with a background such as: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or business (e.g. HA, cand.merc., or equivalent) 

  • Academy Profession degree within finance, accounting, or economics 

Since the position is placed in Copenhagen, the right candidate has a working permit for Denmark.  

In addition, you have: 

  • Interest in BI and data analysis – ideally with experience using Power BI 

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central) 

  • Strong Excel and Office 365 skills 

  • Curiosity about AI and digital tools in financial management 

  • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach 

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly
