Accounts Receivable Accountant

We are a strong international team of 40 employees with headquarters in our CO2 neutral in Gentofte (Greater Copenhagen), Denmark and local offices or showrooms in Hamburg, Munich, Oslo and London.

Job Description: 

We are looking for an accounts receivable accountant to join our finance team in our office in Gentofte. You will work closely together with our CFO and finance manager to ensure a correct and timely reporting for all our entities.  

We are constantly working on improving and optimizing our work process and you would play an important role in optimizing our accounts receivable processes.

Our customers are primarily based in Europe with a focus on the Scandinavian market.

We work in Business Central with SPY as our customer invoicing and stock management system.

The responsibilities include but does not limit to:

Responsibilities:

• Customer payments 

• Recovery of outstanding balances 

• Bank reconciliations 

• Credit management including credit insurance 

• Maintaining customer master data 

• Monthly invoicing of consignment customers 

• Intercompany invoicing 

• Various follow-up customer reports 

• Handling debt collection 

• Assisting with monthly closing 

• Assisting with optimizing projects within finance  

Qualifications:  

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position 

• Thrive on working independently

• Structured, responsible and proactive in task follow-up 

• Advanced Excel skills

• Have preferably worked in Microsoft Business Central

• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English and Danish
